http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/04/12/earlyshow/main6387514.shtml has been on my heart lately all day since I heard about it. Please pray for the boy and the whole situation about American and Russian adoptions. Right now the Russian government has temporarily suspended Americans from adopting Russian children and that isn't very cool at all. Every child deserves a good home and a loving and caring family!!!

  2. So I was talking to one of my friends about this and this is what I should of added to this:

Ya I don't think that he should of been sent back either. Though I don't really know all of the conditions of the adoption, or if it was finalized yet. You see adoption records in the U.S. are sealed meaning that you can't get to them. Though I do know that when you take a child out of Russia he is still considered a Russian citizen until you sign his papers in America with him there. Now if the 32 year old lady didn't sign them yet she could have custody of him, but he wouldn't technically be sent back. Now if she did sign the papers He would be considered an American citizen being sent back to Russia. Therefore the Russian Prime Minister would have even more of a reason to be angry about it. Though I don't think that it is fair to all the other Russian kids that are in the adoption process. They shouldn't be punished for something that they didn't do. Usually an international adoption takes about 2 years and many of those kids could be within weeks of being told that they could finally follow their dreams and be adopted by a loving and caring family. That just isn't fair to them. As a kid I would be extremely depressed about that. Also I've worked in the foster care and adoption system in the past and personally I wonder if this women knew where the route of his problem was, or had experience with kids like that. As for the kid with the behavior problems I have no idea what to say with somethings other then the fact that I don't know what they learned about him before adopting him and I don't know how discipline now and in his past was. It's hard to say everything, but I will say this: Every kid needs a parent no matter what they act like, where they've been, etc. That 7 year old that was sent back needs somebody to step up and adopt him!!!
